Loan Client Portfolio
The Fund supports food and farm enterprises with a social purpose focused on local production and regional markets. Clients consist of local producers, processors and food businesses located within Ontario. They can effectively communicate the social and environmental impacts of the project and the expansion or start-up initiative that the loan will be financing.
Thanks to our community-minded investors, we can provide accessible and equitable capital to our clients. The leadership and commitment of our investors allow the Fund to invest in projects that focus on sustainable local food systems, climate resilience and economic growth.

Sundance Harvest is a vibrant, youth-led farm rooted in principles of food justice, ecological sustainability, and labour equity. Operating across two dynamic sites—a newly acquired 2-acre rural farm in Mount Forest and a small urban demonstration plot in collaboration with its sister non-profit, Sundance Commons—Sundance Harvest is reimagining what a resilient, just, and inclusive food system can look like.
Amani-Innovation: Cultivating African Crops and a Sustainable Food System
Amani-Innovation is deeply committed to bringing ethnocultural diversity to the province’s food system—reducing the need for imports, strengthening local economies, and providing Canadians of African descent with greater access to culturally relevant foods.
